Impact Partner and Samsung FastTrack: accelerating tech start-ups with impact

Can a logistics start-up have a social impact? For LOXBOX, the answer is yes: more reliable delivery means merchants who sell more, jobs for couriers and fewer wasted trips. That is the spirit in which we joined Impact Partner's Samsung FastTrack programme.

Impact Partner, serving impact-driven businesses

A member of the Yunus Social Business network, Impact Partner supports social and impact-driven businesses in Tunisia to help them grow sustainably, create jobs and generate lasting social and environmental value. Its support is both financial and non-financial: coaching, mentoring and capacity building.

The organisation works with leading partners, including the European Union, Samsung, Yunus Social Business, AFD, IFC and Expertise France.

Samsung FastTrack: four weeks to shift gear

Launched in 2015 by Samsung Tunisia in partnership with Impact Partner, Samsung FastTrack is a free programme for early-stage tech start-ups with a positive social impact, in fields such as e-commerce, education, agriculture, health, transport and energy.

Over four intensive weeks, participants attend workshops and receive personalised coaching from national and international experts, before pitching their start-up to a jury of investors, business angels and innovation specialists.

What the programme meant for LOXBOX

For our team, Samsung FastTrack was a chance to test the project against demanding experts, to articulate LinX's impact on the delivery ecosystem more clearly, and to meet investors and entrepreneurs who share the same conviction: technology must serve the real economy.

This support is one of the milestones told in the story of LOXBOX and LinX.
